The “cloud hydrangea” prefers a spot in the garden with full sun or partial shade and will not flop, even after strong rainfall.
With every watering, we recommend adding some liquid fertiliser. As soon as the plants commence active growth in Spring, we also recommend incorporating some multi-purpose fertiliser to the soil/compost around the root area.
At the end of February / early March, prune the shoots from the previous season down to 8-10 cm / 3-4” above the ground.
Bloomulus® is available in several pot sizes, from 14 cm / 5” upwards.
With “cloud hydrangeas”, there are myriad combination possibilities – let us show you some great combo ideas!
When planting in containers, it is vital to use a good compost mix with sufficient nutrients – Bloomulus® varieties are quite heavy feeders.
The new container should be at least 1/3 larger than the original pot size. Please do not forget to water thoroughly after planting!
Our network growers also produce beautiful Bloomulus® plants in 18 cm / 7.5” and 23 cm / 10” containers – these are ideal for planting out in the garden.
